Provider of commercial servers for rugged environments poises for expansion and moves closer to key partner
(Austin, TX) - August 7, 2005 - Augmentix, a provider of mission critical solutions for rugged environments, today announced it has moved its corporate headquarters from Houston to Austin. The new corporate office is located at 4616 West Howard Lane, Suite 150 in Austin.
The move provides the company with additional space in anticipation of significant growth in the coming year and allows Augmentix to be closer to its primary partner, Round Rock-based Dell, Inc. Augmentix uses standardized electronic components from Dell's PowerEdge line of servers and combines them with pioneering board and packaging designs and server availability management software to create high performance and robust systems for use with applications in rugged environments.
Through a close partnership with Dell, each Augmentix server incorporates up to 95% of the components from a Dell PowerEdge Server, ensuring customers receive leading technology solutions that are built for use in rugged environments, and provide reliability, durability and performance.
